Tullibardine 228 Burgundy Cask Finish is a Scotch Single Malt Whiskey crafted in Scotland under the Tullibardine label and bottled by Picard Vins & Spiritueux S.A. at 43% alcohol by volume (ABV). This Highland Single Malt is first aged in ex-Bourbon barrels and then finished in 228-liter barriques from Chateau de Chassagne-Montrachet, which previously held Pinot Noir. The finishing process imparts an auburn hue and enriches the whisky with hints of red summer fruit, chocolate, and sweet spice. The nose reveals red cherries and vanilla with subtle notes of chocolate and Turkish Delight. On the palate, the whisky delivers a distinct hint of red summer fruit, accompanied by notes of chocolate and a sweet, spicy finish. Recognized for its quality, Tullibardine 228 Burgundy Cask Finish received 89 points at the Ultimate Spirits Competition.
