Adelsheim Deglace Pinot Noir

Adelsheim Deglace Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2011 is a Red Blend Dessert Wine made from frozen Pinot Noir grapes. This dessert wine has elegant strawberry, nectarine, and orange blossom aromas, and a luscious mouthfeel. It has frozen after harvest, then pressed after partial thawing.

This Adelsheim Deglace Pinot Noir has a lovely apricot pink color, with fantastic apricot, fig, and honeysuckle flavors and a luscious mouthfeel. At 20% residual sugar and 10.5% alcohol by volume, one might suspect it is "sticky," but it has enough acid to be in perfect balance.

Adelsheim Deglace would be perfect with any semi-sweet fruit dessert, from fresh seasonal berries to fruit sorbets, poached pears, or apple tarts. It pairs excellently with beef, veal, game, or poultry. Enjoy!
