Adictivo Black Edition Extra Anejo Tequila is produced by Tequila Adictivo, located in El Arenal, Jalisco, Mexico. This region is known as the Gateway to Tequila Country, rich in scenic beauty and deeply tied to tequila production traditions. This tequila is made from 100% pure Blue Weber agave, carefully selected and harvested from the rich soils of Jalisco. The agave pinas are cooked in traditional brick ovens, which helps to develop their natural sweetness. The cooked agave is then pressed using a roller mill to extract the juice. The juice is fermented in stainless steel tanks, allowing the natural yeast to convert the sugars into alcohol. The fermented juice undergoes double distillation in copper pot stills to achieve a pure and refined spirit. Adictivo Black Extra Anejo is aged 7 years in French white oak barrels. This extended aging process imparts a deep amber color with reddish hues and enriches the tequila with complex flavors. This tequila has an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 40%.
