Alipus Santa Ana del Rio Mezcal is a true expression of Oaxacan craftsmanship, distilled from carefully selected agave plants grown in the rich, high-calcium soils of Santa Ana del Rio, Tlacolula.

Unlike tequila, which removes the agave solids before distillation, this artisanal mezcal keeps them in, resulting in a spirit that's richer, smokier, and more complex. Each small-batch bottling is formulated by the Hernandez Melchor family, master mezcaleros who bring generations of expertise to every drop.

With 47.4% alcohol by volume (ABV) and 94.8 Proof, this mezcal opens with a bouquet of pineapple, tamarind, jocote, and toasted pumpkin seeds, followed by delicate smoky undertones. The palate reveals a unique balance of herbal and mineral flavors like menthol and stone, rounded by bright acidity and a long, lingering finish.
