The Arran Sherry Cask whiskey is crafted at the Isle of Arran Distillery, located in Lochranza on the Isle of Arran, Scotland. This esteemed distillery, founded in 1995, is the only whiskey producer on the island, known for its commitment to quality and traditional methods. The whiskey is made from unpeated malted barley and distilled twice to ensure a pure and refined spirit. It is then aged exclusively in first fill sherry hogsheads sourced from Jerez, Spain, which impart rich layers of dried fruit, chocolate, and spices to the whiskey. The extended aging process enhances its complexity, resulting in a dark golden amber color and a well balanced flavor profile.
