ASW Fiddler Georgia Heartwood Bourbon

ASW Fiddler Georgia Heartwood Bourbon is a distinguished spirit produced by ASW Distillery in Atlanta, Georgia, the city's second legally licensed distillery since Prohibition. Made from a mash bill consisting of 51% corn, 45% wheat, and 4% malted barley makes, this wheated bourbon stands out for its smooth, sweet profile. The distillation process involves milling the grains, creating a mash with water, fermenting to convert sugars into alcohol, and then distilling in a column. This bourbon is aged for around six years, initially spending four years in new, charred American white oak barrels, and later enhanced with hand harvested Georgia white oak staves in the final months, imparting rich notes of caramel, maple, and toffee. The Heartwood Bourbon has a 58.5% alcohol by volume (ABV).

Fiddler Georgia Heartwood pairs exceptionally well with smoked meats, barbecue ribs, and pecan pie. It can be savored neat, on the rocks, or in cocktails like an Old Fashioned or Manhattan. The bourbon has garnered Gold Medals at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2021, 2022, and 2018, reflecting its exceptional quality.
