Bernheim Original Wheat Whiskey

This Heaven Hill Distillery original is named for the famed Bernheim Distillery in Louisville. Bernheim Original 7-Year-Old Wheat Whiskey is the first new style of American whiskey introduced since Prohibition. Aged for seven years in a traditional open rickhouse, it offers a mellow taste that is refreshingly smooth whether enjoyed neat or in cocktails. Over the years, Bernheim Original has earned recognition including Double Gold at the 2014 WSWA Spirits Tasting Competition, Gold at the 2017 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, and an Excellent Quality accolade at the 2014 Ultimate Spirits Challenge.

Color: Bright Amber.

Aroma: Mildly sweet; hints of vanilla and honey.

Palate: Hints of toffee, berries, and spice.

Finish: Toasted oak; elegant and warm.
