Burton James Bourbon Batch 1 is the brand's inaugural bourbon release, created as part of a second-anniversary doubleheader and built around balance and traditional bourbon character. This batch is a blend of four sourced bourbons distilled in Indiana and Tennessee, aged between 7.03 and 9.11 years, and spanning three mash bills with varying rye content. The components are combined to create a cohesive profile in which no single barrel or origin dominates, emphasizing caramel, vanilla, toasted oak, and baking spice while maintaining approachability, with an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 53.25%. The bourbon is proofed intentionally to preserve structure without overpowering heat.

Color: Amber.

Aroma: Caramel, vanilla custard, toasted oak, raisin.

Palate: Caramel chews, creme brulee, toasted oak, raisin, graham cracker, slight tobacco, balanced sweetness.
