Ca dei Frati I Frati Lugana is the crown jewel of Azienda Agricola Ca dei Frati. Best to be consumed as a vintage, made from Turbine grapes of the Lombardy region of Northern Italy, it expresses the best of itself even after many years after bottling. Bottled, it is fresh, linear, and furnished with great sophistication and elegance, with delicate hints of white flowers, balsamic notes, and traces of apricot. As the years pass after bottling, it evolves, allowing the mineral notes to be expressed, acquiring its complexity with traces of iodates, spices, and candied fruit. In the mouth, it can envelop the whole palate thanks to a significant savory essence accompanied by robust and exuberant acidity. When young, a serving temperature of around 10 degrees is preferable, with cold or warm but delicate starters and to accompany fish dishes, boiled, steamed, or grilled.
