Cakebread Cellars Sauvignon Blanc is produced from grapes grown in top vineyards throughout Napa Valley, including Cakebread Cellars estate ranches in Carneros, Suscol Springs, Rutherford, and Calistoga. The winemaker Niki Williams blends Sauvignon Blanc with a blend of Semillon, Viognier, and Verdejo. Cakebread Cellars Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc is made in steel tanks and concrete eggs to soften its acidity. It is aged for 5 months in neutral French oak and has 14.1% alcohol by volume (ABV).
Sauvignon Blanc was the first white grape variety planted by the Cakebread Cellars Family adjacent to the winery in 1972, and it's still thriving there today. Zesty citrus aromas, flavors, and balanced acidity make this classic Napa Valley sauvignon blanc perfect for many dishes.
