Cave du Fort Sauvignon Blanc

This wine comes from Cave du Fort, a project of winemaker Andre Robineau, in the region of Sancerre, Loire Valley. Made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc harvested outside the area of Sancerre, yet it retains some of the character common to the region. This is a brisk and dry Sauvignon Blanc with prominent notes of tangy citrus peel, with a touch of zesty grapefruit and gooseberry, lemon blossom, ripe pear, and a refreshing, crisp minerality, and a Sea-salty, breezy sea-spray note. It’s a crisp, clean style with a delightfully refreshing, uplifting finish.
