Cazcabel Anejo Tequila is an anejo tequila from Cazcabel in Mexico, bottled at 40% alcohol by volume (ABV). It is produced from Tequilana Weber agave grown in the Los Altos region of Jalisco, cooked in high-pressure autoclaves, extracted using a roller mill, fermented in stainless steel tanks, and bottled at 100% agave, with no added fibers, using natural spring water. The tequila is distilled twice in copper pot stills to refine structure and clarity, then aged in a combination of American white oak, used, and bourbon barrels, allowing extended oak contact to shape its mature profile. This aging process balances agave character with barrel influence, introducing depth while preserving the underlying spirit. The process and profile emphasize a rounded, well-developed tequila, shaped by careful distillation and mixed-barrel aging. Cazcabel Anejo Tequila can be enjoyed neat or sipped slowly to appreciate its aged character, and it pairs well with grilled meats, roasted vegetables, or aged cheeses. It also works well as an after-dinner pour or as a gifting option for those seeking an anejo expression. The tequila is certified gluten-free and kosher.
