Cazcabel Reposado Tequila is a reposado tequila from Cazcabel in Mexico, bottled at 40% alcohol by volume (ABV). It is made from Tequilana Weber agave grown in the Los Altos region of Jalisco, cooked in high-pressure autoclaves, extracted using a roller mill, fermented in stainless steel tanks, and bottled at 100% agave, with no added fibers, using natural spring water. The tequila is distilled twice in copper pot stills to refine purity and structure, then rested in a combination of American white oak, used, and bourbon barrels. This resting period introduces a gentle oak influence while allowing the natural agave character to remain forward. The process and profile emphasize a balance between fresh agave brightness and early barrel development, creating a tequila that shows added smoothness without heavy woodiness.
Cazcabel Reposado Tequila can be enjoyed neat or on the rocks. It works well in classic tequila cocktails where a touch of oak adds depth, and it pairs well with grilled seafood, roasted vegetables, or lightly spiced dishes. The tequila is certified gluten-free and kosher, making it suitable for a wide range of occasions.
