Chartreuse VEP Green Liqueur is a premium herbal liqueur made by the Carthusian Monks in Voiron, France, using a centuries old secret recipe. This exceptional version of the traditional Chartreuse Verte is characterized by its exceptionally prolonged aging (VEP) in oak casks, which enhances its complexity and depth of flavor. As noted by Difford's Guide, the liqueur features a vibrant green color and a rich, herbaceous profile with notes of mint, anise, and various other botanicals. With an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 54% and gluten free, it is best enjoyed as a digestif, served between 13°C and 15°C to appreciate its aromatic complexity and long lasting finish fully.
