Codigo 1530 Artesanal Mezcal

Codigo 1530 Artesanal Mezcal, known as a handmade spirit, is manufactured in Oaxaca, Mexico, in compliance with traditional processes. In order to maintain authenticity, the agave is crushed using a donkey-pulled tahona wheel, fermented naturally with bagasse, and then distilled in copper stills. This unique mezcal is made with an ensemble of Espadin and Tobala agaves, harvested from different terroirs across various elevations and regions of Oaxaca, leading to a flavor profile that is layered and complex. 

The bottling is then rested in Sauvignon Blanc wine barrels from Napa Valley, allowing the spirit to absorb herbaceous aromas while enhancing its delicate notes of floral tones, light woody vanilla, citrus, earth, clay, and a subtle, refined smoke. With 42.2% alcohol by volume (ABV), it is both gluten-free and additive-free, ensuring a pure drinking experience.
