Codigo 1530 Barrel Strength Anejo Tequila is an exceptional small-batch tequila crafted in Mexico, made using only fully matured Blue Weber Agave and pure Amatitan water sourced from freshwater pools and rainwater filtered through the volcanic soil of Los Bajos. Following time-honored customs, it is produced without any added chemicals, flavorings, or sweeteners to preserve the natural richness of the agave. The agave is carefully processed using Codigo 1530’s proprietary chopper, which extracts only the purest juice and pulp from the first press, ensuring the finest flavor in every bottle.
This anejo tequila is aged for over two years in the world’s finest French white oak Cabernet wine barrels, which impart remarkable complexity and depth. Taken straight from the barrel at 88 proof, with alcohol by volume (ABV) of 43.1%, delivering robust character while remaining smooth and gentle on the palate. Each sip reveals subtle layers of caramelized vanilla and dark chocolate, beautifully intertwined with toasted oak aromas, creating one of the smoothest barrel-strength tequilas available.
Awarded Best in Show at the TAG Global Spirits Awards, Codigo 1530 Barrel Strength Anejo Tequila reflects true craftsmanship and dedication to tradition. It is best enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or as the refined base for your favorite cocktail, offering a luxurious tequila experience that highlights its rich heritage and distinctive flavor.
