Courvoisier Initiale Extra Cognac is an XO-level Hors d'Age cognac composed of very old eaux-de-vie aged between 30 and 50 years, drawn from the Grande Champagne and Borderies crus. This Cognac contains 40% alcohol by volume (ABV) (80 proof), and it presents a deep, flavourful profile marked by mature fruit, warm spice, and polished oak. It is best enjoyed neat to appreciate its layered complexity. This cuvee is designed for slow, contemplative sipping.
Aroma: Port wine, Christmas cake, dried fruits, floral potpourri, and soft oak.
Palate: Rich and flavoured with fruit cake, honeyed spice, truffle, and integrated oak.
