Domaine Carneros Estate Pinot Noir is a testament to the rich terroir of the Carneros region in Napa Valley, California. Made by Domaine Carneros, owned by Taittinger CCVC, this wine is crafted from grapes grown in six different sustainably certified estate vineyards, each contributing unique characteristics to the blend. The vineyards are located within a few miles of the Cheteau, ensuring that the grapes benefit from the excellent, marine influenced climate ideal for Pinot Noir. The winemaking process is overseen by winemaker TJ Evans, who meticulously selects French oak barrels, with one third being new, to enhance the wine's earth and spice notes without overpowering the delicate fruit. The wine is aged for ten months in French oak barrels and lends a subtle sweetness that balances the supple tannins. This aging process contributes to the wine's rich, full bodied character and its hallmark texture, which is both supple and creamy. It has 14.2% alcohol by volume (ABV).

This hand crafted Pinot Noir can be enjoyed independently or paired with various dishes, such as beef, poultry, pork, or grilled salmon. Winemaker TJ Evans recommends pairing it with Hen of the Woods mushroom pizza for a delightful culinary experience.
