Domaine des Maisons Neuves Brouilly is produced by the Jambon brothers, fifth-generation winemakers in Burgundy, from their 8-hectare estate in the commune of Saint Lager at the foot of Mont Brouilly. The estate's wines average more than 30 years of age and are grown in goblet-trained plots across Charentay and Odenas, where shallow granitic soils and south-facing exposures provide ideal conditions for Gamay. Harvesting takes place at full maturity, with careful monitoring of the must pH to preserve freshness and balance. The wine is vinified in the traditional Beaujolais style, utilizing semi-carbonic fermentation under temperature control. Each parcel is vinified separately before blending, allowing for the reflection of the terroir's diversity. With 13% alcohol by volume (ABV), it offers both depth and refinement. This Brouilly pairs beautifully with red meats or wild game, making it a versatile choice for both rustic and refined dining occasions.
