Dona Paula Altitude Series 1350 Cabernet Franc comes from Gualtallary in Mendoza. This region has established itself as Argentina's benchmark for this variety. The wine is a blend of 85% Cabernet Franc, 10% Malbec, and 5% Casavecchia, showcasing the diversity and strength of this high-altitude terroir. Harvesting takes place manually between mid-April and late April, with each variety vinified separately after cold maceration in stainless steel tanks to preserve the primary aromas. Following fermentation, the blend is aged for 14 to 16 months in French oak barrels, 20% of which are new, contributing complexity and balance. Carrying 14.5% alcohol by volume (ABV), it achieves a balance of freshness and richness.

This release has garnered strong acclaim, earning 93 and 92 points in recent panel tastings, which highlights its recognition as a world-class expression of Cabernet Franc from Mendoza. The wine pairs beautifully with bifes a la criolla, stroganoff pasta, wild game, sauteed mushrooms, ossobuco, or other dishes with rich textures and high fat content.
