Dona Paula Estate Malbec

Dona Paula Estate Malbec is a striking expression of Mendoza's Uco Valley, produced from estate-owned vineyards in Gualtallary and El Cepillo. Situated at elevations ranging from 1,100 to 1,350 meters above sea level, the vines grow in stony, calcareous soils, benefiting from warm days and cool nights. This results in wines that are fresh, structured, and characterized by a distinct terroir.

Grapes are harvested by hand in early April, followed by gentle destemming, cold pre-fermentative maceration, and fermentation at low temperatures. After fermentation, the wine spends additional time on the skins to enhance character, followed by 12 months of aging in French oak barrels of varying ages to add structure and depth. This wine contains 14.5% alcohol by volume (ABV).

Dona Paula Estate Malbec has earned consistent critical praise, including 92 points from James Suckling, 91 points from Tim Atkin, 90 points from Wine Enthusiast, and a Silver medal at the International Wine & Spirit Competition. This Malbec pairs beautifully with grilled sirloin and chimichurri butter, roasted tomatoes, or herb-seasoned French fries, making it versatile for both casual meals and refined dining.
