Forty Creek Barrel Select Blended Canadian Whiskey

Forty Creek Barrel Select Whiskey is the blend that started it all for the distillery, initially released in 2000 to showcase the possibilities of Canadian whisky. Made from individually aged grain whiskeys of rye, barley, and corn, it is bottled at 40% alcohol by volume (ABV) (80 Proof) and aged in a combination of seasoned ex-bourbon barrels and new American white oak, resulting in a unique and full-flavored profile. The warm gold whiskey opens with aromas of honey, vanilla, orange peel, and apricot, layered with toasted oak, black walnut, and spice. On the palate, rich and robust flavors of vanilla, honey, a hint of rye spice, and cocoa emerge, finishing smooth, lingering, and memorable.
