The Camarena Family has been making tequila since 1937, formulating some of the world's finest spirits for generations. At El Pandillo Distillery, Master Distiller Felipe Camarena and his sons uphold their proud family tradition while embracing innovation and sustainability.
Unlike many modern producers who rush the process, Felipe stays true to authentic methods, slow-cooking agave in traditional stone ovens for 22 hours. What sets G4 apart is its unique oven design, which cooks from both the top and bottom to achieve perfectly even flavor extraction and minimize waste, resulting in a pure, rich agave taste.
The G4 De Madera Blanco Tequila marks the distillery's first use of wood fermentation and is released annually in limited batches, Lot 1 in 2022 and Lot 2 in 2023 - each bottle hand-numbered.
It's also the only G4 tequila made with deep well water, giving it exceptional depth and complexity compared to other G4 expressions. At 45% alcohol by volume (ABV), De Madera delivers bold notes of cooked agave layered with cracked black pepper, spice, and a subtle nutty undertone, creating a tequila that embodies both heritage and innovation in every sip.
