G.D. Vajra Rosabella Rosato

G.D. Vajra Rosabella Rosato is a captivating rose wine that embodies the essence of Piemonte, Italy. Produced by the esteemed Azienda Agricola G.D. Vajra, located in the picturesque region of Barolo, Italy, this wine truly reflects the winery’s dedication to quality and tradition. The Rosabella Rosato is crafted using the saignee method, primarily from Nebbiolo grapes, with small amounts of Barbera and Dolcetto. The grapes are harvested early to retain their freshness and bright aromatics. The winemaking process involves a short skin contact below 24°C, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks to preserve the wine’s delicate floral and fruity notes. Notably, there is no malolactic fermentation, which helps maintain the wine’s vibrant acidity and energy. The wine is aged briefly in stainless steel before bottling, ensuring it retains its fresh and lively character. It has 13% alcohol by volume (ABV).

Rosabella Rosato is bright and fresh on the palate, with floral aromas of roses, pomegranate, and cherry, complemented by a finish of wild strawberries.
