Gracias a Dios Pechuga Mezcal is an ultra-premium, artisanal mezcal from Oaxaca, Mexico, composed by Gracias a Dios Mezcal. Produced using time-honored methods passed down through five generations and overseen by maestro mezcalero Oscar Hernandez, this mezcal begins with double-distilled Espadín agave from Oaxaca's Central Valleys.
It is finished in a traditional pechuga distillation. During the final distillation, turkey breast (pechuga de guajolote) and local fruits such as cacao, nuts, banana, apple, pineapple, and raisins are added, a ceremonial technique traditionally reserved for special celebrations such as Dia de los Muertos.
The flavor profile is complex and savory, layering dried-fruit sweetness, nutty richness, gentle spice, umami depth, and soft smoke, making it ideal for contemplative sipping and for pairing with festive meals, roasted meats, mole, or celebratory dishes.
