Hillrock Single Malt is a handcrafted whiskey made in small batches from naturally grown estate barley, traditionally floor malted on-site in the first new malthouse built at a U.S. distillery since Prohibition. From grain to glass, every step, from milling and fermentation to pot distillation, aging, and bottling - takes place at Hillrock's Hudson Valley Estate.
The result is a true Field-to-Glass artisanal whiskey that beautifully expresses the estate's terroir, with rich layers of cinnamon, clove, caramel, and vanilla. Select expressions are delicately smoked with imported Speyside peat, imparting a complex smokiness with inviting notes of tobacco, leather, and campfire.
Bottled at 48.2% alcohol by volume (ABV) and 96.4 Proof, this award-winning single malt has earned remarkable recognition over the years, including 97 points and a Top 50 Spirits placement by Wine Enthusiast (2015), 95 points from Jim Murray's Whisky Bible (2020 & 2017), and multiple Gold and Double Gold medals across prestigious competitions such as the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, NY World Wine & Spirits Competition, and SIP Awards.
