Hirsch The Departure is an American single malt whiskey composed from 100% malted barley and double distilled in small copper pot stills at Hotaling & Co. Aged for 6 years and 9 months in a combination of new char #3 and toasted American oak barrels, this release marks one of the final spirits produced at the original Potrero Hill distillery. With 49% alcohol by volume (ABV), it offers a clean, modern malt profile with balance and approachability, ideal for sipping neat.

Aroma: Caramel, fresh grain, grassy malt.

Palate: Sweet cereal, green tea, baking spice, light fruit.

Finish: Crisp with cocoa nibs and lingering stone fruit.
