Kenwood Jack London Red Blend is a rich and expressive wine that combines the finest lots of Merlot, Zinfandel, and Syrah from the historic Jack London Ranch on Sonoma Mountain. Aged for 18 months in quality barrels, this blend shows both balance and complexity, offering layers of fruit and savory depth with soft, elegant tannins. Since 1976, Kenwood Vineyards has been the exclusive producer of wines from the lava-terraced vineyards of the Jack London Ranch, a site known for its unique red-lava soils that impart deep color and concentrated varietal flavors. Jack London, who once farmed this land more than a century ago, was an early advocate of sustainable farming, and the estate continues to be sustainably cultivated by the same family today. This Red Blend opens with a bouquet of intense fruit aromas, including plum, blueberry, and blackberry, followed by hints of chocolate and cardamom that add warmth and spice.
