Laelia Reposado Tequila is a reposado tequila from Laelia in Mexico, bottled at 40% alcohol by volume (ABV). It is produced from fully mature 100% Blue Weber agave grown in the Tequila Valley of Jalisco, cooked in stone and brick ovens, extracted using a tahona, and fermented with fibers in open-air wood tanks using deep, healthy water. The tequila is distilled twice in copper pot stills, preserving traditional production methods that emphasize agave character and texture. After distillation, it is rested for 4 to 6 months in white oak barrels, including French and American white oak, for a short but purposeful aging period that softens the spirit while maintaining freshness. This resting process introduces a gentle oak influence while keeping ripe agave at the center of the profile. The process and profile highlight the balance between traditional production techniques and light barrel aging, resulting in a tequila that shows both brightness and early maturity. Laelia Reposado Tequila can be enjoyed neat or on the rocks. It works well in classic tequila cocktails where a touch of oak adds depth, and it pairs well with grilled seafood, roasted vegetables, or mild cheeses. It is suited for everyday sipping as well as casual gifting for those seeking a traditionally made reposado.
