It was created from the blend of Chardonnay, Ugni Blanc, and Gamay from the regions of France by an American woman who moved to Nuits St Georges in Burgundy, France. Chardonnay provides depth and structure, while the Ugni Blanc offers natural acidity and freshness. The light bodies of Gamay provide vibrant fruit expressions and a smooth texture with 11.5% alcohol by volume (ABV). This Le Grand Brut Rose complements a range of foods, from savory to sweet. Pair with spicy Asian dishes, risotto, BBQ, lamb, duck, chicken, prosciutto, pizza, soft cheese (like brie or goat), cheesecake, creme brulee, strawberry shortcake, or berry pie.
