Lopez de Heredia Vina Tondonia Reserva

Lopez de Heredia Vina Tondonia Reserva, from the Rioja region of Spain, has a noteworthy vintage. The wine growing campaign proceeded as usual, although heavy rains in June occurred. Fortunately, these rains did not impact the grapes' setting. Following a successful fertilization process and the absence of spring frosts, the dry and hot summer free from cryptogamic and fungal diseases resulted in an abundant harvest. Specific maturation differences among the grapes were noted and addressed in October due to the favorable climate, which allowed for a careful and selective harvest. The collection of white grape varieties at Vina Gravonia began on September 22nd and continued until September 25th. The harvest of red varieties at Vina Tondonia commenced on October 7th and was completed by October 24th. This exceptional wine is crafted from grape varieties such as Tempranillo, Garnacha, Graciano, and Mazuelo, all sourced from the same vineyards. It is ideal for date nights and family gatherings.

Color: Vibrant red, leading slightly towards amber.

Aroma: Light, fresh texture with notes of vanilla and dried berry aromas.

Palate: Rich, parched, smooth, developed. Firm tannins and good balance.
