Macchu Pisco, the company’s flagship bottling, is crafted from the assertive Quebranta grape. A type of colorless brandy made in South America, it is distilled in copper pot stills using a labor-intensive process that requires 10 pounds of grapes for every bottle produced. Smooth and subtly flavorful, it makes a delicious base for the iconic Pisco Sour, yet is equally enjoyable served on ice. The nose is light with hints of vanilla, lime peel, and white pepper, while the palate reveals notes of white pepper, vanilla sugar, wet cement, lime, yuzu, and cinnamon. A peppery bite and a touch of earthiness carry into the quick finish, leaving the palate ready for another sip. Bottled at 42% alcohol by volume (ABV), Macchu Pisco has earned numerous accolades, including a 95-point rating from the Ultimate Cocktail Challenge.
