Cody Road Bourbon is a wheated bourbon with no rye, made from a mash bill of 70% locally grown corn, 20% wheat, and 10% barley. First launched in 2011, this small-batch bourbon is aged for one year in 30-gallon new oak barrels, resulting in a deep amber color that shines beautifully in the glass. At 45% alcohol by volume (ABV) and 86 proof, it opens with aromas of vanilla and red raspberry, accented by light grassy notes. On the palate, bright raspberry leads, flowing into gentle grain and wheat flavors, with vanilla and a hint of bubblegum rounding out the moderately smooth finish. Cody Road Bourbon is light, airy, and approachable, making it ideal for sipping neat, over ice, or in classic bourbon cocktails. This approachable bourbon earned a Silver medal at the 2013 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, making it a recognized choice for both sipping neat and enjoying in classic cocktails.
