Old Potrero 6 Year Old Toasted Barrel Rye Whiskey is a landmark American rye, formulated in San Francisco and recognized as part of the first wave of post-Prohibition American craft whiskey. Distilled in a small copper pot still from 100% malted rye, this whiskey is aged a minimum of six years in traditionally toasted, handmade American white oak barrels made from 24-month air-dried staves. The toasting process rooted in 18th-century coopering enhances grain expression and oak integration without heavy char, resulting in a whiskey that is complex, grain-forward, and deeply expressive, with an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 51.2%.
