At 40% alcohol by volume (ABV), Zacapa XO is a smooth and sophisticated rum with aromas of mature, toasted oak, burnt caramel, dry-roasted nuts, marzipan, and orange peel, finishing with a subtle, deep fruity note. On the palate, it offers a harmonious blend of sweetness, fruit, spice, and spirit, with flavors of dark cherry, chocolate, date, prune, and sweet oak spices, including clove, vanilla, and cinnamon.
