Silks Irish Dry Gin

Silks Irish Dry Gin is a dry gin from Ireland, produced by Boann Distillery with an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 42%. This floral-forward contemporary style gin is crafted by hand and infused with 14 botanicals, including signature ingredients harvested from the family’s own property. The creation of Silks Gin is led by Marie Cooney and her daughter Sally Anne, in collaboration with award-winning distiller Michael Walsh.

The botanicals include Irish honey, apple blossom, and elderflower from their orchards and hedgerows, combined with juniper from North Macedonia, coriander from Serbia, angelica from Poland, grapefruit from Spain, sweet orange from Ghana, sage from Co. Meath, cardamom from India, chamomile from Croatia, cassia from Sri Lanka, Irish apple from Co. Meath, and hawthorn blossom from Co. Meath.

Silks Irish Dry Gin is silky smooth, with notes of orange peel, fresh blossom, and apple complementing the juniper backbone, finishing with a hint of honey. It has earned multiple accolades, including a Gold Medal and 92 points from the Beverage Testing Institute in 2021, a Gold Medal for Best Irish Gin at the 2022 Irish Whiskey Awards, and 91 points from Wine Enthusiast in 2022. Silks Gin enters the fastest-growing segment of the white spirit world, super-premium gin with style and sophistication.
