Tequila Ocho Anejo

Tequila Ocho was founded by tequila expert and restaurateur Tomas Estes and third-generation Master Distiller Carlos Camarena; Tequila Ocho was created to express the purest agave flavor possible. The world's first single-estate, single-field tequila is made using traditional, sustainable, additive-free methods that celebrate the terroir of our Jalisco Highlands home. From the finest, overripe agaves comes the finest quality tequila from the Highlands of Jalisco. The single field estate grown agaves are looked after carefully by the Camarena family.

Tequila Ocho Anejo is aged in ex-American whiskey barrels to age our bold, balanced tequila for one year, the minimum amount of time allowed by law, in former American whiskey barrels. Tequila Ocho Anejo is made artisanally, using only overripe slow-cooked agaves in stone ovens. Ocho's aged expressions use these repeatedly-used barrels to ensure maximum agave essence can shine through so that you taste the bold agave flavors. Tequila Ocho Anejo has full and complex cooked agave notes, dark cacao, coffee, nutmeg, vanilla, dried fruits, and salted caramel. It has a deep, complex, long-lasting, peppery finish with a buttery mouthfeel.

Color: Light amber.

Aroma: Black tea, pepper, and wet tobacco.

Palate: Complex cooked agave notes with dark cacao, coffee, nutmeg, dried fruits, and salted caramel.
