Created in a small town in the highlands of Jalisco, founder Dwayne Johnson partnered with a Mexican family-owned distillery to build a dedicated home for the brand—Destilería Teremana de Agave. There, Teremana is crafted with care and respect for tradition, producing great tequila the right way—in small batches and by hand. Using 100% brick oven roasting, the distillery draws out the bright citrus flavors of its highlands agave. The agave is roasted for three days before being shredded to extract the juice for fermentation, and the leftover fibers are used as organic compost for the agave fields. After open-tank fermentation, the tequila is distilled in handmade copper pot stills created by a local artisan on-site. These stills not only honor the traditional tequila-making process but also produce a cleaner, smoother spirit that reflects the heart of true craftsmanship.
Palate: Notes of rich warm oak, vanilla and roasted agave with a lightly sweet and complex finish.
