The GlenAllachie 2009 Single Cask Oloroso Hogshead is a cask-strength Speyside single malt distilled in 2009 and aged for 14 years in a single Oloroso sherry hogshead. US Exclusive Single Cask with an outturn of just 327 bottles, this whiskey was bottled in March 2024 at 57.8% alcohol by volume (ABV)(115.6 Proof) without added color or chill filtration, preserving its full intensity and natural character. Rich, sherry-forward, and structured, it is best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water to open up its depth.
Tasting Notes
Color: Intense chestnut.
Aroma: Toasted orange peel, heather honey, dark chocolate, maraschino cherries, black velvet cake.
