The GlenAllachie 2012 Single Cask Red Wine Hogshead is a cask-strength Speyside single malt, distilled in 2012, aged for 12 years, and finished in a red wine hogshead. Single Cask release with an outturn of just 245 bottles, this whiskey was bottled in May 2025 at 60.6% alcohol by volume (ABV) (121.2 Proof) without chill-filtration or added color, preserving its natural richness and structure. Fruity, spiced, and flavorful, it is created for experienced whiskey drinkers who enjoy bold red-fruit influence and layered sweetness, best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water.
Tasting Notes
Color: Burnished rose gold.
Aroma: Glazed cherries, cinnamon spice, poached orchard fruits, honeycomb, delicate eucalyptus, sweet molasses.
