TX Bourbon

Firestone & Robertson Distilling Co., TX Straight Bourbon is an actual Texas creation, crafted with a distinctive blend of yellow dent corn, soft red winter wheat, and 6-row distillers malt. What makes it even more unique is the proprietary yeast strain they captured from a Texas pecan, affectionately known as the "Brazos," and, of course, pure Texas water. This carefully crafted bourbon pays homage to the spirit of the Lone Star State.

The distillery barreled its first whiskey in March 2012, and after over four years of aging, it proudly released its first batch of TX Straight Bourbon in December 2016. It's a special dram they've nurtured with care, and they hope you enjoy it just as much as they do. With 45% alcohol by volume (ABV) (90 proof), it's a smooth, balanced bourbon with rich, complex flavors perfect for sipping neat or over ice.

Color: Dark amber.

Aroma: Floral with hints of maple and cinnamon.

Palate: A blend of fig, allspice, and brown sugar creates a warm, inviting taste.

Finish: Balanced, smooth, and pleasantly warm.
