Versasi Sweet Fine Marsala

Versasi Sweet Vermouth is a sweet vermouth crafted in Italy with an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 15% under the Versasi label. Originally developed to compete with the Ports of England and the Madeiras and Sherries of Spain, Italian Marsala wines, including those from Versasi, are made using Grillo and Catarratto Bianco grapes grown on the Mediterranean island of Sicily. Like Ports and Madeiras, Marsala is a fortified, high-alcohol red wine typically produced in regions with a Denominazione Origine Controllata (D.O.C.) rating. Versasi Marsalas are aged one year and are most often used as cooking wines in rich Italian sauces and dishes. Offered in both sweet and dry styles, Versasi Marsalas support a wide variety of cuisine creations for restaurants and home chefs alike.
