Olmeca Altos 100% Blue Agave Tequila is the result of a unique collaboration between Olmeca's Master Distiller, Jesus Hernandez, and internationally renowned UK bartenders Henry Besant and Dre Masso. Prepared in the heart of Los Altos, Jalisco, Mexico, at an elevation of 2,104 meters above sea level, this tequila combines centuries-old tradition with modern expertise. Part of the production utilizes the 500-year-old Tahona method, and the spirit is then distilled in small copper pot stills to ensure a clean, refined product.
With 40% alcohol by volume (ABV), Olmeca Altos offers fresh herbal aromas, complemented by hints of green pepper and a soft citrus finish. On the palate, it provides a sweet, slightly smoky flavor, rounded off with a hint of honey. Bottled straight after distillation, this tequila is perfect for sipping neat, over ice, or in cocktails that highlight its rich, authentic character.
